it's beginning to look a lot like christmas

it's that time of year, when the halls are decked with holly (fa la-la-la-la-la-la-la la) and the parents of young ones use "santa" as an excuse to make their little ones behave and not chuck tantrems in the middle of the shopping complex...

what a wonderful time of year - and today is only christmas eve, if i was in australia, it would be christmas already, a nice fuckin' hot sticky christmas....here it's 3°C, it's raining and the snow is nearly gone from the ground, so my wish of a white christmas might not happen, but there is a slight chance that there will be a trace of snow tonight until tomorrow afternoon, so who knows?

first update in two weeks, getting a bit slack in my old age i think, i did update last week, but the computer froze on me, leaving my entry un-read and un-published *cue: awwwwwwwww's*

it was a shit entry anyways, i was trying to sound cool by writing about the hockey game i went to at the acc, toronto maple leafs v. tampa bay lightning.....toronto won 3 - 0, great game though.....i think i could really really get into hockey, couldnt play it for shit mind you, but i can definitely get in to it

....and it is where i had my first molson, until know the only beer i was drinking was corona "and they give it to you in bottles with a lemon on the top, and it dont taste too bad im telling you" (i was having mine with lime, tastes better i think)...getting of track - so my first ($8) molson canadian, and it was good stuff, not worth the $8, but very nice, so now i have a six pack to get me into the holiday spirit (maybe i'll become that drunk uncle at the parties, that we all dont want there, you know the one im talking about....."gus")

what else have i encounted in the past two weeks.....oh went to a little ditty on saturday, played some "friends" trivia with grace (p.s. i am the master, you will all kiss my feet) and then had a bon-fire, or somewhat of a bon-fire, it was basically a mini-bbq

but i got to roast some marshmellows, so all was good, just like my sweet arsed pasta salad

went to shoeless joe's with my gorgeous girl, kristian, james, darby, diana and pat brown......who is a great chap, and told me about the exploding whale

WHAT THE...? i hear you ask, simple: got to google and type in exploding whale, it should be the first or second site that comes up, then download the movie, it's a 1970's news broadcast, that some might find amusing, and if you cant be bothered going to all that trouble (which im sure some of you cant) just click this, it will take you to the video...enjoy one, enjoy all - it is christmas after all!!

and yesterday, was the pizza hut all you can eat bar, with james and my baby...

it seems when ever i go to an all you can eat place though, my stomach seems to shrink, which is a bitch...cause i love eating, like at the mandarin the other night, i grabbed as much sushi as i could, but didnt have room for desert....damn stomach

plus i think i lost about three days of that two weeks looking at strong bad emails
well i think i've taken enough of everyone's christmas spirit for one year, so im hitting the road jack
