the week in review

saturday comes around, and you're left at the end of the week (again) just like all the others.....

wednesday: dinner at the outback....yes, how lovely - an australian themed restraunt, what a hook that was - you know us aussies with our "bloomin' onions", "chooks", sheila's", dingo's eatin' babies" and all that jazz....i opted for the "brisbane" (pronounced bris-bain) ceasar salad, with the "victorian" 8oz steak.....and, no australian beer (yes i had a coke) there were no australian beers AT ALL!!!!!

[later that night]

a quick 30 minute drive to york uni, and we're off to see billy talent in concert for $8, bargin of the year i say!!!!

met up with jay, darby, ashley, mike and jenna...and watched as about 200 kids that didnt have i.d get kicked out of the line, only to go in and see about 100 people get kicked out for moshing.....billy talent, if your on the floor you had to mosh!!!!

billt (code name: billy talent) was absolutely great, and worth the $8

thursday: dinner at gretzy's (yes as in wayne, the hockey player)

pizza and cake afterwards, but the biggest, tellest piece of white chocolate cake you have ever seen, it's in the fridge as i type, i couldnt eat it all - there were people at other tables asking me to turn it 360 so they could see it all.....it was huuuuuuuuge!

before dinner, there was a special presentation, to me, a box (that i was told for someone else) was given to me, and i was told to treasure it, and inside was........

a toronto maple leaf jersey!!!!!!!

then off to the air canada centre to see toronto get their asses whipped by ottawa 7 - 1

(mind you it was because belfour wasnt playing)

friday: a quiet night in watching "american wedding" and "robin williams live on broadway"

saturday: another quiet day, shopping for things we need in london, burger king for lunch and me cooking dinner (roast chicken) and desert (strawberries in balsalmic viniger and vanilla sugar, with cream cheese) for the family......

and now the week starts all over again, with 25 below weather, and 36 below with windchill

but i love it
